Roman co-generation plant
Total Gas Power Ventures SA. (part of the Total Fina Elf group), Sviluppo Impianti Termoelettrici SpA (Sondel, Montedison Group) and ERG Petroli (part of the ERG group), are to form Roma Energia Srl to realise a co-generation combined-cycle power facility with a capacity of about 800mw, to produce electric and steam-powered energy.
KCA wins contract in Iran
Abbot Group's wholly owned subsidiary KCA Drilling has received confirmation of a contract with Elf Petroleum Iran, a subsidiary of TotalFinaElf, appointing KCA as the onshore drilling contractor for the Dorood Field development on Kharg Island in Iran.
