At the Sochi-2015 International Investment Forum, TMK, global producers of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, and Gazprom have signed a long-term agreement to supply a complete set of premium tubular products and maintenance. TMK will supply high strength special pipes with premium threaded connections of carbon, alloy and special steels to be used in adverse climate conditions and aggressive environments.

TMK, leading producers of pipes for the oil and gas industry, participated in Gazprom tenders for premium tubular products. Following two public requests for proposals, TMK was announced the winning bidder in 8 out of 13 lots.

Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) announced that hot-rolled products Mill 5000 has produced its five-millionth tonne of metal.

Russian Steel, a non-governmental organisation, held management board elections at its annual general meeting. Dmitry Pumpyansky, chairperson of the Board of Directors of TMK, was elected as president, and Yury Mishin, adviser on industrial policy at Metalloinvest, was elected as vice president, as well as chairperson of the Management Committee.

TMK, producers of tubular products, and state-owned RUSNANO Corporation are running a joint project at TMK’s Seversky pipe plant to expand the production of high-tech pipe with improved performance for the oil and gas industry.

TMK signed an agreement with Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) at the METAL-EXPO 2014, an international industrial exhibition held in Moscow, for the pricing formula to be used for calculating the pricing of wide hot-rolled sheets shipped to TMK enterprises.MMK is expected to ship wide hot-rolled sheets to TMK's Volzhsky Pipe Plant, which would use them to produce large diameter pipes (LDP) intended for major Russian gas pipeline projects by Gazprom, including Power of Siberia, South Stream and Bovanenkovo–Ukhta.

TMK announces the appointment of Alexander Lyalkov, Senior Vice-President of TMK, as Managing Director of Volzhsky Pipe Plant. Elena Blagova, Managing Director of Volzhsky Pipe Plant since 2007, shall join TMK Management Company to take responsibility for new projects.
