Russian Steel elects new VP, president

Russian Steel, a non-governmental organisation, held management board elections at its annual general meeting. Dmitry Pumpyansky, chairperson of the Board of Directors of TMK, was elected as president, and Yury Mishin, adviser on industrial policy at Metalloinvest, was elected as vice president, as well as chairperson of the Management Committee.

The organisation brings together Russia’s largest producers of steel products to co-ordinate their efforts to safeguard the interests of national steelmakers. Russian Steel currently has nine members: Evraz Group S.A., NLMK Group, OJSC MMK, Metalloinvest, Mechel, OMK (United Metallurgical Company), Severstal Group, TMK Group and Industrial Metallurgical Holding.
