Liberty Industries Group, part of the GFG Alliance, Global steel and engineering business, has recently appointed ex Tata senior steel executive Michael Horan as Managing Director of Liberty Performance Steels, as Liberty House Group continues its ambitious growth plans with a series of high ranking appointments across its rapidly expanding UK operations.

At the Blechexpo, Tata Steel highlighted two new cold rolled strip products from its plating business. The products include a nickel-plated stainless steel for decorative cans and covers based on its Hilan® technology and an ultra-thin expanded steel with nickel-plating.

Head of the Tata Group empire, Ratan Tata retired on his 75th birthday.
