Olympic Steel, a US metals service centre, announced that Sean Heenan has been named general manager of the company's operation in Winder, Georgia, effective April 2015. Heenan began his steel industry career in 1994 as management associate at United States Steel Corporation.

Olympic Steel promoted Gerry Phillips as the general manager at the company's facility in Milford, Connecticut. He assumed the role on 1 January 2015, when he took over from Michael O'Hara, who has retired after more than 24 years of service.

Olympic Steel promoted Andrew Markowitz to the newly created position of vice president, Sales and Marketing–Specialty Metals.
