Nucor Corporation announced that Keith Grass, Nucor's executive vice president of Raw Materials and CEO of The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), plans to retire effective 12 September 2014.
 
Grass joined DJJ in 1978.

Nucor Corporation announced that Gregory J. Hayes has been elected to the board of directors effective immediately. Hayes has served as senior vice president and CFO of United Technologies Corporation (UTC), a diversified company providing high-technology products and services to the global aerospace and building systems industries, since 2008.

Nucor names Ray Milchovich lead director

Nucor Corporation’s board of directors appointed Raymond J. Milchovich as lead director effective September 5, 2013. Daniel R. DiMicco will continue to serve as the executive chairman of Nucor.
