Nucor’s Berkeley Division, Berkeley, SC, has signed a contract with Entec Systems International designed to provide increased annealing throughput and lower operating costs in their 100% hydrogen batch annealing facility. As part of this contract, Entec will supply Nucor with process consulting along with several of Entec’s thermal modelling products (CAPS™ Suite). The system will interfaces with Nucor’s plant-wide coil database for complete process integration.
