Kværner Verdal gets Johan Sverdrup jacket contract
Kvaerner has signed the final contract for delivery of the drilling platform jacket to the Johan Sverdrup field. 
Johan Sverdrup construction starts
Production of the first elements on the Johan Sverdrup project has begun. On 29 June, Kværner metalworker Stian Myrvold Green started up the machine that will cut the steel for the riser platform jacket on the Johan Sverdrup field.
