NSSTS trademark established

NIPPON STEEL Stainless Steel Corporation, the largest stainless steel producer in Japan, has established the brand new trademark of NSSTS for its distinctive lineup of steel grades.The company plans to integrate and consolidate the existing trademarks and steel grades made by the former three companies into NSSTS accordingly.

TOYO awarded biomass-fired power plant project in Japan

Toyo Engineering Corporation has been awarded a contract for a project to construct a 51,500kW biomass power plant. This plant will be built in Ishikari-shi, Hokkaido, Japan for Ishikari Shinko New Energy Hatsuden Godo Kaisha.

New brandmark for Nippon Steel Group

Starting April 1, 2019, Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) will change its corporate name to Nippon Steel Corporation (Nippon Steel) as disclosed on May 16, 2018.

ODFJELL SE purchases SS chemical tanker

INPEX undertakes offshore drilling project in Japan

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has been commissioned by the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan to drill one exploratory well for the agency’s Heisei 26~28 domestic offshore drilling programme in Japan.
