Molybdenum production remains static in Q1 2019

Recently, the International Molybdenum Association (IMOA) show that global production of molybdenum remained static in the Q1 of 2019 when compared to the same quarter last year, while global usage fell by 7%.

According to the International Molybdenum Association (IMOA), the global production of molybdenum fell to 128.8 million pounds in the Q1 2015, from 148.1 million pounds in the Q4 2014, and is 5% lower compared with the Q1 2014.
