FMC Technologies Inc. has signed an agreement with Norsk Hydro ASA to supply subsea systems and related services for the Oseberg Vestflanken Field in the North Sea. The contract is valued at approximately USD 28 million. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the Oseberg Vestflanken Field is within the scope of the frame agreement for subsea systems signed in 2000 by FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS, FMC Technologies’ Norway-based subsidiary, and Norsk Hydro. The Oseberg Vestflanken contract includes four subsea trees and associated structures, manifolds and production control systems, as well as connection systems for flowlines and umbilicals.
