StocExpo cements role for tank terminal sector

By David Sear & Mark Casey

The latest StocExpo – held from 13-15 March 2012 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, was without doubt a leading international event for the tank terminal industry.

Following on from successful former shows, the 2012 StocExpo featured an even larger conference plus a stronger exhibition.

In short, this was the place for independent and major terminal operators as well as manufacturers & suppliers to come together to review strategic visions and technical requirements for tomorrows’ terminals.

Visitors were treated to a professional exhibition, where they could see a diverse range of products and services from the world’s top tank construction, automation, metering, engineering, valve, fire prevention, mixing, steel and vapour recovery companies among many other disciplines.

We joined the crowds heading to Rotterdam to interview some of these standholders for ourselves, as you can see below.

NB: The next StocExpo is scheduled for 19 – 21 March 2013 in Antwerp, Belgium.
