Steel fabricator AT&F acquires HMF

AT&F is celebrating 75 years in the industry with the strategic acquisition of Manitowoc, Wisconsin-based Heavy Metal Fabricators (HMF). The HMF facility is 60,000ft2, provides 60-ton crane capacity, and hosts large-scale cutting, welding and machining operations. Acquiring the new facility will allow AT&F to expand its operations into the Midwest.

“The capabilities and experience that exist at the facility are a great complement to the operations we have in Ohio and elsewhere”, said Michael Ripich, AT&F president & CEO. “This location will put us closer to several of our key customers and prospects located in the region.” Ripich added, “The facility will operate under the AT&F name and with AT&F management, leveraging our decades of precision fabrication experience.”
