Stainless SteelCAL has been translated into Portuguese by the Brazilian Stainless Steel Development Association to enable students and designers in Portuguese speaking countries to access this learning package more easily. In 2002, the Steel Construction Institute developed Stainless SteelCAL, a computer-aided learning (CAL) package that assists architects in understanding more about stainless steel. Stainless SteelCAL offers a highly visual learning experience based on interactive learning activities including video clips, multiple-choice questions with explanatory text, animations (some of which the user can control) and arrangement of facts in a given order. Stainless SteelCAL is a stand-alone module within the SteelCAL package and uses the SteelCAL software as the principal delivery vehicle.
