Stainless sensors

Crydom Magnetics Ltd has lauched a new range of stainless steel liquid level sensors, with versions operating up to 200 C. The SSF series, made from high-grade 304 and 316 stainless steel, is particularly suited to chemical processing, sterilisation and analytical equipment applications or where high temperatures are present. The stainless steel sensors are mounted horizontally or vertically through tank walls, and feature user configurable switching actions, suitable for “make on rise” or “break on rise” liquid level detection. Hermetically sealed reed contacts switch up to 300V AC and 50VA. Cable lengths of 350–500mm are supplied as standard. Versions with plug / socket connectors are also offered for ease of removal and refitting. Benefiting from low contamination properties, stainless steel is an ideal choice for food grade applications, such as drinking water, dairy and brewing. The SSF range of sensors is available direct from the Wimborne UK factory.
