Special Metals Corporation has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors, effective 7 September 2001. Michel Hémonnot, Secretairé Général and CFO of Eramet SA, joins Special Metals’ Board as a Class I Director. In addition, Carlos L. Landin, an attorney and the beneficial owner of the capital shares and common stock of LWH Holding SA, has been elected a Class II Director. The appointments fill board positions that were previously vacated. Currently, the Special Metals’ Board is comprised of nine members, divided into three classes serving staggered three-year terms.
