Sino-russian pipeline deal

China and Russia are expected to sign an oil-pipeline agreement involving investment of up to USD 2.5 billion for a 25-year deal. A feasibility study of the 2400km project, from Siberian oilfields in Angarsk to refineries in NE China, was completed this year, and an agreement to go ahead is expected to be signed this week during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Beijing.
