Shell has promised its steel customers worldwide a 12-hour response time through the launch of its steel sector website (www.shell.com/steel). It will also help centralise over 50,000 steel related enquiries per annum. The website, which goes live in November 2002, includes information on Shell, its experience within the steel industry, products and services specific to the sector and contact details for Shell offices around the world. It also includes case studies highlighting where its products and services have made a significant impact in improving plant performance and reliability, and in reducing operational costs.
