Saber Tooth ceramic flap disc

Suitable for grinding metals such as stainless steel, Weiler has released its new Saber Tooth ceramic flap disc. Due to the aggressive, self-sharpening ceramic grain, the Saber Tooth has a fast cut rate. In addition, the flap disc has a specially formulated grinding aid that prevents dulling and glazing. Designed to work with hard, heat sensitive materials such as stainless steel, inconel and titanium, the Saber Tooth flap disc grinds and finishes in one step, resulting in fewer changeovers and increased productivity. The standard angled style phenolic backed Saber Tooth ceramic flap disc is available in 4-1/2in and 7in sizes. The 4-1/2in trimmable Saber Tooth’s design enables the operator to reduce the diameter of the backing to extend disc life. The trimmable backing also provides high flexibility, enabling access to hard-to-reach areas. The performance-engineered non-marking trimmable backing will not damage the work-piece, resulting in less re-work and scrap. Weiler offers a full line of standard and specialty flap discs in a variety of styles and grit sizes to solve a wide range of surface conditioning applications.
