Rosneft, Chinese Hengli Group sign agreement

Rosneft Oil Company and Chinese Hengli Group signed a cooperation agreement as part of the first Russian-Chinese energy business forum. The document was signed by Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Officer of Rosneft Oil Company, and Chen Jianhua, President of Hengli Group.

The agreement provides for potential cooperation of the parties on promising projects in oil and gas field exploration and production, oil refining and petrochemical projects in the Russian Federation and in China, as well as trading oil and petrochemical products.

In order to coordinate interaction, Rosneft and Hengli Group will establish a task force for analyzing potential joint projects and evaluating their commercial efficiency.
