BRÜCK® develops and manufactures seamless rolled rings from stainless steel such as Duplex and Superduplex for use in space travel at its production location in Ensheim. Ring rolling mill # 5, for example, can roll seamless rings with a maximum diameter of 5,600mm and an individual weight of up to 27 tons and a height of 1,750mm. When the rocket carrier Ariane is launched into the sky from Kourou in French Guyana and starts on its prescribed orbit in space, there will also be forgings from Ensheim on board. For many years BRÜCK® in Saarbruecken, Germany, has been supplying finished rings with a diameter of 3,900mm for this rocket carrier.
