Pride semisubmersible in Mexico

Pride International Inc. has won a contract for the semisubmersible Viking from a unit of Petroleos Mexicanos SA (Pemex) for work in Mexico. The contract, which lasts three-and-a-half years and starts on 1 October 2003, is worth USD 66 million. Four additional Pride rigs previously awarded contracts by Pemex in May 2003 are to commence work on July 1, 2003.
