Outokumpu streamlines management

Outokumpu’s corporate management will be streamlined to some 25 staff. A new Business Support Unit will be established and the Copper Products Business Area management structure phased out. These measures are likely to result in reduction of the total number of personnel. The new structure will be effective as of 1 September 2002.
In February 2000, Outokumpu introduced a new management model that created the current business units, each with a high level of autonomy in its business operations.
