Outokumpu receives LCS approval for aerospace

Outokumpu has received Pratt & Whitney’s LCS (laboratory control at source) approval for its bar products manufactured in its Richburg mill in South Carolina. LCS is the system that validates the testing and control of specified materials and processes used in Pratt &Whitney’s aerospace products. Pratt & Whitney designs, manufactures and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.

Outokumpu serves the North American market through its key service center partners. The company has over a century of experience in creating efficient, long-lasting, and recyclable stainless steels.
