Outokumpu Long Products, producer of stainless steel wire rod, bar, rebar, billet, welded pipes and other long products, and Böllinghaus Steel, a special shapes bar supplier, have recently declared a sales and marketing partnership by appointing Böllinghaus Steel as a distributor for cold drawn and hot rolled bars in hexagons, squares and flats.
As part of the cooperation, the overall Böllinghaus Steel products will be complemented with Outokumpuâs shapes produced in Sheffield, UK. Outokumpuâs 8-25mm size range of special shapes bars will be sold by Böllinghaus Steel to the market in addition to their existing product range. Through this partnership Böllinghaus Steel will be able to offer a full size range of special shaped bar including wide assortment of hot and cold formed standard profiles. The portfolio comprises: hexagon bars (8-60mm), square bars (8-70mm) and flat bars (width: 12-130mm, thickness 3-95mm). In terms of grades the offering covers all main stainless steel grades as well as titanium and nickel alloys.
