Operations in Röyttä harbour restarted

Outokumpu Oyj’s operations in Röyttä harbour in Tornio, Finland have been restarted despite the stevedores strike. The loading and unloading of the ships is carried out with the help of sub-contractors. With this arrangement Outokumpu is able to secure the stainless steel deliveries to customers and the import of raw material. Some customer deliveries are transferred to railway and road and transported via Sweden. With these arrangements Outokumpu is able to continue the production of ferrochrome and stainless steel and ensure that customer deliveries are carried out as planned. At the moment it is expected that the financial impact from the strike will not be material.
