Okuma launches MB-80V for working on large workpieces

Whether cylinder heads, forming and cutting tools or components for semiconductor production lines, the demands placed on the machines used continue to grow. Okuma has responded to this need and now also offers its new MB-80V vertical machining centre in Europe. The vertical machining centre in the MB-V series will bring new machining options that benefit automotive suppliers and other industries with large workpieces.
The MB-80V is the vertical machining centre in the internationally successful MB-V series and is ideal for working on large workpieces. This is due partly to the working area with table dimensions of 1,600 × 800 millimetres and partly to the X-Y-Z travel of up to 1,600 × 1,050 x 600 millimetres. Despite these impressive dimensions, the machine requires a minimal footprint and can be quickly set up thanks to its easy handling.
The already simple operation of the MB-80V with the Okuma OSP P300 controller can also be customized to meet individual customer requirements. The “Thermo-Friendly Concept” from Okuma also guarantees maximum process reliability, dimensional stability and shape accuracy in the manufacturing world as standard.
The MB-80V is available for immediate order. Shipping begins in August 2020.
