Norsk Stål has rewarded Stalatube as their Supplier of the Year 2007/2008. The award ceremony was held in September 2008 in Beitostølen, Norway. Stalatube was chosen for success in the following criteria: Co-operation, Performance, Competitive prices, Quality, Development, Long-term relationship and Environment/Health and safety. Stalatube was competing against two other nominees, chosen by the committee. Other nominees in the competition were Corus Tubes UK and DanSteel. This reward, the Supplier of the Year, was given for the first time in this form. The reward will be given from now on every other year.
