norelem expands its range of universal joints

norelem has expanded its range of universal joints to include double stainless-steel joints. Universal joints are designed to connect rigid shafts whose axes are inclined to each other and are commonly used in shafts that transmit rotary motion, whilst compensating for axle misalignments.
Whilst the joints can withstand high rotation speeds, the maximum speed depends heavily on the working angle and load, but as a rule, should not exceed 500 rotations a min. Additionally, there are limits to the working angles, which is 45° for universal joints single and 90° for universal joints double.
The joints are available with and without a keyway, which ensure that the couplings transmit the load, power and rotation without slipping and within the accuracy requirement of the design.
The universal joints are extremely sustainable in the transmission of loads. Additionally, due to the high corrosion resistance of the stainless-steel, the universal joints are particularly suitable for outdoor applications or use in the chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries, where product safety and quality are of the upmost importance.
