Renishaw (UK), a supplier of scanning and touch trigger probes for co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs), has extended its comprehensive styli catalogue with the introduction of a new range of more than 300 high precision M5 styli and adaptors for the Zeiss range of probe heads. Throughout the range, tungsten carbide, titanium, ceramic, aluminium, stainless steel, carbon fibre and hardened steel are used for construction. The range is compatible with Zeiss analogue probe systems without probe changing, measuring heads with probe changers and dynamic probe heads. The new styli range gives comprehensive coverage of probing applications, including standard straight styli, fine styli for precision work, star styli, styli for thread measurement, swivel styli, spherical disc styli, plus a wide range of extensions, joints, adaptor plates, and precision mounting tools.
