The first in a new series of online CPD presentations on stainless steel is now available to architects and other construction professionals through IVOX, a web-based broadcasting medium that allows the presentation to be streamed over the Internet to multiple users on demand. Certified by the Construction CPD Certification Service, the presentation is the first in a series developed by the British Stainless Steel Association and the Nickel Development Institute for architects and other construction professionals. Entitled “An Introduction to Stainless Steel”, the presentation provides advice on selecting and specifying stainless steel grades and finishes and is illustrated with examples of typical architectural and constructional applications. At the conclusion of the presentation, a short multiple choice questionnaire is displayed to the participant who, on successful completion, can download a CPD certificate and file it as part of a self assessment record.
