New leadership structure for Tenova

Tenova, a worldwide supplier of technologies, products and engineering services for the Metals and Mining industries, announces the departure of CEO Alberto Iperti. Iperti will remain a Tenova Board member and will assist during a transition phase.

Under Gianfelice Rocca’s governance as executive chairperson, as of 1 October 2014 Tenova will be managed by a team of four managing directors leading the company’s business areas around the respective industry competencies within the Tenova portfolio. Walter Kueng will lead Tenova Mining & Minerals. Mauro Medici will lead Tenova Pomini & I2S. Roberto Pancaldi will lead Tenova Thermprocesses. Andrea Rocca will lead Tenova Steel Making & Strip Processing. “With the new leadership structure, emphasising on entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology, Tenova is well equipped to take advantage of the diverse opportunities in our global markets.â€? Rocca further adds. “There is great potential waiting to be exploited.â€?
