New Easy To Weld Machines from Weldability

Weldability-Sif has developed the ARC200S and ARC250S Manual Metal Arc MMA welding machines. The machines are portable, economically affordable, single phase 230V or 3-phase 400V AC MMA and feature ‘fan on demand’ air cooling. They also feature thermostatic protection with an output current controlled by a wind-in transformer using a handle on the front panel. The ARC200S is suited for DIY and light sheet metal fabricators. It is also suitable for use in repair and maintenance applications. It can be used with 1.6mm – 3.22mm diameter mild steel electrodes and is rated 200A @ 10% duty cycle with a current range from 60 – 200A. The ARC250S is suitable for use by light to medium sheet metal fabricators and repair and maintenance applications. It can be used with 2.0mm – 4.0mm diameter mild steel electrodes and is rated 250A @ 10% duty cycle with a current range from 65 – 250A. The 3 phase input power should be used for output currents in excess of 150A. The machines can be used with a wide range of electrode types in addition to mild steel electrodes; the selection depends upon the polarity and current requirement. Both machines are portable with a two wheel undercarriage and are supplied, ready to weld with welding leads, earth clamp and accessories.
