Spence Engineering Co. Inc. (Walden, NY, USA) has introduced their new âDoctorâ? Series MD Control Valve for mixing or diverting dirty or viscous liquids, gases or steam. They are available in cast iron, steel and stainless steel. Dual port and balanced plug design provide smooth, high pressure control and permit use of compact actuators for installation in tight spaces. Vibration and plug deflection are minimised by the rigid support of the Doctorâs top and bottom stem guiding. Even with high pressure drops, proper seating is ensured. The Doctorâs capacities are as much as 40% higher than competitive valves because of of reduced turbulence in the open body configuration.
