New DMC staff

DMC Clad Metal Division of Dynamic Materials Corp. has added two technical staff members to their sales team in Boulder, Colorado, USA. Mr Tom Morey has been with DMC for 17 years, most recently as Quality Manager in the Mt Braddock factory. One of Mr Morey’s major accomplishments in the last seven years in that position was the implementation of the ISO 9001:2000 certified quality program. Mr Jason Carter joined DMC from Olin Corp. He is a metallurgical engineering graduate from the University of Missouri, Rolla and did additional work in materials studies at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Dynamic Materials Corp.’s three explosion welding factories: Nobelclad, France, Nitro Metall, Sweden as well the US business, DMC Clad Metal have all experienced a strong demand for Detaclad®, bi-metallic clad metal in the last two years. This has prompted the Corporation to authorize an expansion of the factory in Mt Braddock, Pennsylvania, doubling the throughput capacity. This expansion is valued at USD 9.6 million. Mr Morey and Mr Carter are in Boulder booking orders for the new plant capacity that is now under construction and is scheduled for completion early next year.
