Nestlé to build fourth US frozen food plant

Nestlé USA Inc. has decided to invest USD 165 million to design and build a new frozen foods manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The facility, where Nestlé will produce its Stouffer’s® and Lean Cuisine® brands of frozen meals, will include 325,000 square feet of manufacturing space when production begins during the first half of 2003. Its flexible design will allow further expansion. The Stellar Group will provide architectural, engineering and construction management services.
