Nederman receives foundry orders

Nederman will supply three foundries in China and Thailand, owned by the Japanese company Aisin Takaoka, with comprehensive solutions for extraction and filtration. The order consists of a combination of solutions at three different plants, one in China and two in Thailand.

The foundries in question produce components for the automotive industry and Aisin Takaoka is both expanding its capacity with new casting lines and upgrading existing lines.

The solutions include extraction and filtration at the induction furnace, shake out, shot blasting and fettling. Nederman also delivers solutions for efficient sand plant management and active carbon filters for reducing odors. Nederman extraction and filtration solutions ensure a clean and healthy work environment throughout the foundry process and facilitate efficient recycling of foundry sand.

The filter equipment will be produced at Nederman’s plant in Suzhou, China, and the installation will be project managed from Nederman’s technical departments in Bangkok and Suzhou respectively.

Installation and commissioning will be on-going from the 3rd quarter of 2012 with completion scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2013.
