Nederman launches compact plug-and-play welding fume extractor

The global environmental technology company, Nederman, now launches the convenient and cost-effective welding fume extractor MCP-GO, building on the industry leading MCP SmartFilter technology. The MCP-GO is a compact plug-and-play welding fume extractor that offers advanced filtration technology in a simple, quick-to-install, easy-to-use package and provides a reliable, clean air solution for manual welding, welding robots or cobots, and thermal cutting processes. It´s designed to collect and filter thermally generated fumes resulting from welding and laser cutting processes and can serve up to five extraction points.

Nederman is a global leader in industrial air filtration and experts in fume extraction. With the new MCP-GO, Nederman further strengthens its world-leading position and in particular its position within the welding and metal fabrication segment.

Weld fume is considered a Class 1 carcinogen and managing workers’ exposure to these fumes is essential to creating safe and productive workplaces that protect workers’ health and comply with industry laws and regulations. The MCP-GO system is CE-marked and uses a highly efficient and flame-retardant Nanofiber filter media which effectively captures the extremely fine fume particles in an energy efficient way.

The MCP-GO comes in two models to fit different needs for airflow, pressure requirements, and fume generating processes. Both models have the same footprint, filtration technology, and capabilities. The units offer a wide range of options and accessories including extraction arms, hoods and spark arrestors to build a complete and safe fume extraction and filtration system tailored for the customers’ specific needs and requirements.
