Mukand manufactures Coke Bucket and Carriage for CDQ

Mukand Limited, a major manufacturer of stainless steel and heavy machinery design & manufacturing under Bajaj Group, has announced the successful manufacturing of its first-ever Coke Bucket and Carriage, a critical component in the Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ) system. This milestone reinforces Mukand’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

The Coke Dry Quenching (CDQ) process is an advanced and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional wet quenching. By utilizing dry cooling through nitrogen gas circulation, CDQ significantly reduces CO2 emissions, conserves water, and enhances coke quality. This technology plays a pivotal role in mitigating environmental impact while ensuring greater energy efficiency in steel manufacturing.

The project, utilizing approximately 100 tonnes of steel, stands out as a one-of-a-kind initiative marked by intricate engineering and advanced manufacturing. Its successful execution underscores Mukand’s expertise in delivering robust, high-precision industrial solutions, reaffirming the company’s capability to take on complex, performance-driven engineering challenges.
