The Minitainer® tank from Tank Solutions has been introduced to revolutionise the way shippers are transporting and distributing liquid products. The Minitainer® is an IBC-sized UN-portable tank designed to be used with drum shipments for smaller quantities and improved product containment of hazardous materials to reduce cleaning and disposal costs of one-way containers. The cost of spills, waste disposal, product heels, cleaning agents and related transportation continues to increase creating the need for reusable packaging. The Minitainer® is constructed of thick 316 or 304 stainless steel with capacities of 250 and 300 gallons and is available in both insulated and non-insulated versions. Built with design pressures of 100 and 175 psi, ¼ inch and 5/16 inch tank shell thickness, the Minitainer® is designed to fit every need. The Minitainer® is built for forklift operation with two extended fork tubes and risers for two-way fork entry and tank maneuverability during loading and unloading operations. There are also two ½ inch stainless steel lifting lugs located on the top of the tank for lift-on or lift-off capabilities.
