Longer life for ball valves

Circor Instrumentation has introduced a high-cycle low-maintenance design into an increasing range of Hoke ball valves. The DL/TL Series unidirectional ball valves are available in brass, 316 stainless steel and Monel, and 7 Series valves come in 316 SS as standard or special alloys to specification. They use energised stem packing technology, which extends life up to 100,000 cycles, and live-loaded seats that compensate for wear and temperature cycling without ever needing adjustment, making the valves totally leak-tight in operation over their entire pressure range. The DL/TL valves give a choice of Delta stem seals or a spring-loaded Teflon design that reduces operating torque and caters for media compatibility, also offered on the 7 Series two- and three-port three-piece bolted valves. Supplied with a manual handle or optional factory-assembled air actuator that reduces installed cost, these quarter-turn valves give fast on/off operation and visual indication of position. Grounded stems prevent static discharge for safety.
