Boll & Kirch, a manufacturer of automatic filtration equipment, has launched a new range of liquid and gas filters – showing for the first time at Offshore Europe 2005. The Boll BFD range of duplex filters has been designed to cope with the demands and extreme stresses associated with gas, petrochemical, and offshore applications. The range includes: BFD -p duplex gas filter – for gas particulate removal; BFD -c gas coalescer filter – for removal of liquids and solids from gas; BFD -bb double & block & bleed system – for gas filtration. BFD Filters are manufactured from carbon steel to duplex stainless steels for ultra corrosion resistance and fully approved to international standards: AD-2000, ASME Sect. VIII Div.1, Directive 97/23/EEC, PED, API 614, U-stamp and UM-Stamp. Boll will also be demonstrating the 6.18 Automatic Self-cleaning Filter, which is suitable for injection water applications or protecting desalination systems.
