Keeping alignment in line

Thames Side-Maywood has launched a new version of its T93 load cell and loading assembly, which is unaffected by angular misalignment during installation. Supplied as a complete loading assembly, it contains a fully-welded stainless steel load cell, sealed to IP68, which comes in a comprehensive range of capacities and has Atex certification. The loading assembly is protected by an “autophoreticâ€? coating. The T93 LA is designed for silo, hopper, tank, vessel and platform weighing, and is suitable for hazardous gas and dust environments, where the atmosphere is potentially explosive. The stainless steel load cell is particularly suitable for hygienic applications, and for dusty, corrosive and wet environments, including wash-down areas. The autophoretic coating of the loading assembly is extremely hard and resistant to corrosion, yet ductile enough not to crack or flake under heavy loads or stresses.
