ITT Flygt is supplying 153 mixers to a new wastewater treatment plant in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China. The plant will consist of a biological aeration tank, an equalisation tank, a biological select tank, and a neutralisation tank. Flygt China will supply 153 SR4430 compact slow speed 4.3 kW mixers, along with control panels, with a total value of USD 1,250,000. The Shaoxing plant, which is due for completion at the end of the year, will have a capacity of 350,000 cubic metres per day. The total cost of the plant is around USD 24 million. This is the largest application in the world with Flygt SR4430 mixers.
