Ireland: Jacobs wins contract from Pfizer

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that a subsidiary company has received a contract from Pfizer to provide construction management services for the expansion of Pfizer’s aseptic production facility at Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland. Jacobs previously provided design services to this project. Officials estimate the total installed cost of the project at EUR 240 million. The new development, which includes production, warehousing, laboratories, and site infrastructure, strengthens Pfizer’s supply chain for aseptic products. Pfizer previously awarded Jacobs the preliminary and detailed engineering design phases of the project.
