India: titanium tubing for power project

RathGibson Inc., headquartered in Illinois, US, has secured a contract in India’s first 4000MW power project. RathGibson, a manufacturer of welded, welded and drawn, and seamless stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing, has been chosen by Indian based engineering firm, Larsen & Toubro, to supply titanium welded tubing for the condensers for the Tata Mundra Project in India. The power plant will be built near the city of Mundra, in the state of Gujarat.
