India: DHDT project

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that it received a contract from Indian Oil Corp. Ltd (IOCL) to provide project management and engineering, procurement, and construction management services for a 2.2 million tons per annum diesel hydro treatment (DHDT) project to be located at IOCL’s Gujarat Refinery in the state of Gujarat, India. The DHDT project has a total investment cost of USD 200 million and is scheduled to be completed in 3 years. The project will enable the refinery to produce diesel conforming to the latest EU norms. IOCL selected AXENS as licensor for the plant. Jacobs will perform project management and provide residual process design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, and startup and commissioning support. The work will be entirely managed and executed by Jacobs’ office in Mumbai, India.
