Hydrogen on Demand

Millennium Cell Inc., a development-stage company that has created a proprietary technology to safely generate and store hydrogen, has announced that its proprietary Hydrogen on Demand(TM) technology will be demonstrated with the new Nexa(TM) power module from Ballard(R) Power Systems at the Wasserstoff (Hydrogen) Expo in Hamburg, Germany, on 11-13 October. “We congratulate Ballard on this significant commercial achievement,â€? said Stephen Tang, Millennium Cell President and CEO. “We believe Millennium Cell’s Hydrogen on Demand(TM) system is highly compatible with the Nexa(TM) and has the potential to provide value for end users who are concerned about storing large amounts of gaseous hydrogen. The performance and safety benefits of our hydrogen-fuel systems that avoid storage requirements by providing hydrogen only on demand remain well suited to Ballard’s product goals. We believe the Nexa(TM) will play a crucial role in accelerating commercial acceptance of fuel-cell technology worldwide and as a fuel system provider, are encouraged by this development.â€?
