Probe Resources Ltd has made a gas discovery in the Gulf of Mexico that is expected to be capable of producing 25 million to 35 million cu/ft per day of natural gas. The Vancouver-headquartered company, which has its US base in The Woodlands, Texas, said its South Timbalier 214 A-6 Sidetrack No. 1 well on the Buliminella 1 formation exceeded Probe’s expectations. The well was drilled from a Probe-owned production platform in the adjacent block, which is connected to a ready-for-service export pipeline.
