Extended operating capabilities

Haskel/Butech high-pressure valve, fittings and tubing systems are available with valve packing and stuffing box options extending their standard –73 to +315 C operating temperature range up to –253 to +648 C, and with a construction ensuring failsafe operation at pressures up to 10,000 bar. Designed for liquid and gas flow control in petroleum, chemical, power generation and general industrial applications, the valves come in a variety of body styles and with a choice of panel mounting options. Needle valve features include a non-rotating stem, preventing galling and scoring, and a positive gland locking device. Four stem styles are offered including vee metering and regulating micro-metering. Standard materials are 316 cold worked stainless steel, 17-4 PH long-life stem and glass-filled Teflon packing. Glass-filled packing is offered for high temperature capabilities and alternative valve materials include Hastelloy, Inconel, titanium and Monel.
